Concession 2: Surveillance

A pop-up performance in reaction to clandestine government video surveillance of rural folks on a local side road.

OK, so we expect to be under scrutiny, observed, surveilled and even recorded in our daily urban journeys. But hidden, camouflaged official cameras on a country road can still be a shock to the system.

This unsanctioned event included live and recorded video with performances by Tony Massett and Geoffrey Shea in collaboration with Grace Bridgman, Doug Tielli and Heather Saumer.

Thanks to Ronan Bryson for technical help, Kirk Scott for additional video and Michael Snow for the Walking Woman theme.
